The first and only toboggan run in the Ruhr Area!
Closed due to renovation work
The toboggan run is the summer highlight at alpincenter Bottrop. Speeds up to 42 kph on a total distance of 1000 meter provide a exciting downhill coasting experience. A 360 degree turn as well as a tunnel adds up to a fun family coaster experience. The coaster has a height difference of 80 meters from the top down to the bottom of the adventure mountain. After reaching the bottom point the sleds are comfortably pulled back up to the starting point and you can enjoy an amazing view of the area while returning to the top.
The toboggan run is currently closed due to renovation work. The track is being rerouted and will feature a new 360-degree turn as well as an extension of approximately 100 meters in the downhill section. These improvements will make the experience more attractive and exciting.
The work is being carried out in connection with the expansion of the alpincenter Halde, which is currently in the preparatory groundwork phase. An opening date has not yet been determined. We are delighted that the summer toboggan run will once again be a special attraction at the alpincenter in the future.
