In Germany the first hotel was opened in 1986 in Moers. Today, the Van der Valk Group in Germany excists out of 10 hotels, two magnificent castle hotels, a fantastic holiday park, and 2 indoor ski slopes. All hotels are located near large cities, just off the highway and offer an unusually good value for money, true to the motto of grandparents: "Good to fair price".
